Google Docs Opens API – Amazon Fulfillment Service Gets Easier – iTunes Installs Safari by Default – Free Line Report 3-26-08

Google Analytics is now the de facto standard for free web analytics, from how many visitors you’re getting to what search engine keywords are bringing in the most traffic. Even though it is popular, a lot of its power isn’t getting tapped by most users. We’ve got a link to the top 20 resources – just for Google Analytics. Sometimes it’s amazing what you get for free.

And you may know that Amazon has been offering fulfillment services for business owners and other online merchants for some time. But until now, any business using Amazon’s fulfillment service had to go through a series of complicated and manual steps to ship anything. With the new Amazon API, this is all history – so if you’re selling physical products online, you might want to take another look at Amazon’s fulfillment service.

Ever wanted to share your iTunes music with your friends, but found out that’s harder than it should be? Well, check out the the free iTunes utility, Mojo. With Mojo you can easily share your iTunes library over the internet, and give your friends access to your songs.

If you use iTunes on Windows, you might be greeted with a surprise automatic installation of the new Safari web browser. The Mozilla Foundation, creator of Safari’s competitor, FireFox, is complaining, saying that users should at least have the choice whether or not to install Safari.

And finally, Google Doc’s has opened up its API, allowing users to add Google Gadgets inside of documents – for example, now you can create stunning reports for your Google Spreadsheet using the Visualization API. Developers will be able to really leverage the two technologies, which is great for people that use Google’s free online alternative to Microsoft Office. You know, it’s getting harder and harder to compete with Free.

    Thanks for the resources.

FYI – the links in the post are backwards. The link to the top 20 resources goes to the Amazon one and the Amazon one goes to the top 20 resources link.

I can’t wait to get the email each day and see what resources and news you’re dishing up to us Brad. I can’t imagine the resources you have pulling this altogether for you to make sure it happens each day.

    Thanks Brad.

    Hey Liz,

I fixed it — thanks for the heads-up! (Somebody called me, too — didn’t catch the name, but thanks!)
