fantastic updates. Although the new is accurate they are not current and upto date, since the web 2.0 sphere news travel faster then the speed of light, you may have gather information quicker. I understand that recreating a video takes longer and more effort involved and I am applaud you for that, but I am certain that this blog will attract more and more users who are very much tech savvy in this area. My suggestions are the use of:

www.commentsniper.com

This will deliver blog posts instantly as they are published. You would target techcrunch, mashable, etc to get the latest news to reproduce here in the videos.

And the latest social RSS aggregator:

www.shyftr.com

Which I have been waiting for a longtime coming, incidentally I will have a videocast on how it works on the blog www.rapidfireblog.com in about 20 minutes, but this will aggregate all you RSS feeds in once place, but with full-text feeds, yes! with full text feeds and a robust framework.
